On March 24, 2020, the Concord Township Board of Zoning Commission held a Public Meeting via conference call and voted to continue Application ZC012020, per the Applicant's request. The continued date to be determined by the state of emergency restrictions/modifications and large group meeting restrictions. Meeting date/time/location will be advertised in the Delaware Gazette, posted in the building foyer and on the website and letters mailed to surrounding property owners as required.

The Concord Township Zoning office has received the attached letter from the applicant, Metro Development, regarding Zoning application ZC012020. Due to the rapidly developing situation with coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the applicant has requested a continuance of the hearing currently scheduled for March 24, 2020. When the state of emergency declared by the Governor has been rescinded or modified, the revised hearing date will be posted on the website and in the Delaware Gazette.
The Zoning Board will adhere to the 3/24/2020 advertised meeting date and time for the purpose of voting to continue the meeting and electing 2020 Chair and Co-chair. Concord Township Board of Zoning Commission (BZC) will meet at 7:00 p.m. March 24, 2020 at the Concord Township Administrative Building, located at 6385 Home Road, Delaware, Ohio, 43015 for the following purposes: 1) To consider Application, designated as ZC012020, filed by Metro Development of 170 Olde Worthington Road, Suite 100, Westerville, OH, 43082. The Applicant is requesting approval for rezoning, from Farm Residential (FR-1) to Planned Residential District (PRD), and a preliminary development plan referred to as Concord Highlands for a Planned Residential District at 7084 Dublin Road, Delaware, OH, 43015, Parcel #60021002032000, owned by Brewsters Trillions LLC, and the following parcels owned by Roy and Virginia Farneman, Parcel #60021002026000, Dublin Road, Parcel #60021002031000, Dublin Road, Parcel # 60022001020000, Concord Road, and 7379 Concord Road, Delaware, OH, 43015, Parcel #60022001019000 at a combined total of 254.436 +/- acres of all lots. At the conclusion of the BZC Public Meeting(s) and the BZC Vote, the matter will be submitted to the Board of Trustees for review and action. The Application is available for public review during normal business hours at the Ostrander Branch of the Delaware County District Library, 75 North Fourth Street, Ostrander, OH, 43061 and the township website; and 2) The BZC will also elect 2020 officers, approve a 2020 meeting schedule, conduct such other organizational business as deemed necessary, and other business as needed.
