The Concord Township Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. The purpose of the special meeting will be the annual road evaluations for the 2027 Road Improvement Program. The meeting will begin at the Concord Township Road Department, 7860 Dublin Road, Delaware, Ohio, and will continue along all township roads. UPDATE: DELAYED DUE TO WEATHER
Concord Township has been notified that ODOT Delaware County will be closing US 42 South between St. Rt. 257 South and St. Rt. 745 South/257 North on Thursday, September 17th from 7:00am - 3:00pm. Work on the bridge will entail an asphalt overlay to prolong the wearing surface life of the structure.

ROUNDABOUT REPAIRS & CLOSURE St. Rt. 257 & Home Rd.
A message for the Ohio Department of Transportation:
As most of you know, we have a severe pavement heave in the northwest area of the inside lane of the St. Rt. 257 roundabout. We have devised a plan to repair this which entails milling out about 90' of asphalt and replacing with concrete to eliminate any further heaving. We have coordinated with the county on detour options for this closure and will only close what access points to the roundabout that are needed to access the problem area. We plan to close this section on Tuesday September 15th at 7:00am and will have everything opened back up before evening rush-hour on Wednesday September 16th. Both of the Home Road westbound lanes will have to be closed going through the north side of the roundabout to have room for equipment and safety of our crews....
In accordance with Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), trick-or-treat in Concord Township will be held Thursday, October 29 from 6-8 pm. In the event of inclement weather, the date of trick-or treat will not change.
Residents who wish to participate are encouraged to keep their porch lights on, drive with extra caution and have a safe and enjoyable Halloween!

Concord Township will close N. Lake Hill Rd. (at 5088) on Tuesday, August 4 through Wednesday, August 5 for two culvert pipe replacements.

Concord Township is seeking a motivated individual for a part-time position within our Road Department. The position will primarily focus on cemetery and park maintenance as well as snow and ice removal, but other duties within the Road Department may be required.
Candidates must be willing to work outside and perform physical labor tasks. The ability to do simple maintenance and repairs is a plus. A candidate experienced in snow and ice removal is preferred, but not necessary.
Pay with CDL $21.18/without CDL $19.30 per hour
